Dr. Mehdi Akbarzadeh is a distinguished Interventional and Imaging Cardiologist based in Australia, dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care and improving outcomes for his patients and the wider community.
He completed his initial training in general cardiology and subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at the renowned Tehran Heart Institute in Iran. He then pursued further cardiology training in New South Wales, Australia, and expanded his expertise through advanced fellowships at leading cardiology centers in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and France.
Dr. Akbarzadeh has published extensively in high-impact journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) and Europace. His research and clinical innovations in interventional cardiology have earned him recognition and awards at both national and international levels.
